>>1494266I got them there, in my normal size. Fit like a glove (touching all of my foot except toes, and there left a ~centimeter of space). The upper is very durable, can't even tell I've scraped them on rocks and cacti. Very sticky rubber on the bottom. I only wear them /out/ though because of that one review, but if you do the math I think that dude got like 700 miles out of them. I was afraid I might be making a mistake on them until they arrived. Very light on my foot. They didn't break in until I ran in them. But I don't do much running /out/. I do desert hiking usually up mountains so a fair bit of scrambling in there. Only drawback IMO is that if you have weak ankles you might roll one in these with a heavy pack. I've done enough calf-raises to not have that issue though. In this case, I recommend them for hiking over any boot, and I prefer them to the merrels I've worn in the past.
Not sure if they still are, but when I bought them they were on sale, half off the normal price I think, which made them the cheapest /out/ shoe without goretex that didn't look like they'd fall apart on me (I'm very hard on shoes).
