Garden design to reduce bug populations in semi-permanent shelters0

No.1485990 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I'm wondering if it's possible to make a living barrier to control bugs in camping shelters.
I tried google scholar but haven't managed to find anything relevant, and general search
results point me to inconclusive gardening blogs that just recommend various types of
plants and don't address the actual question I'm looking to answer.

Has anyone tried anything like this? I know that bugs are just a part of camping, especially
in spring etc, but I'm curious to know if it'd be worth making a few seedbombs to spread
around your shelter, if you're making something sturdy enough or you find a really great
spot that you're going to use again.
