Has anyone here tried to camp in the treetops?
It's looks peak comfy and is probably great for stealth camping but I'm too scared to try it

How do you deal with wind? If the trees started swaying heavily I'd imagine there would be an insane amount of tension on your lines.

Sounds like a giant hassle, freezing cold, and really dangerous. Wait for the trees to sway in the wind and your hammock goes taut and dumps you out.

My buddies and I did that shit while camping years ago where you all put your hammocks in a row up the tree. It's actually pretty comfy and fun till someone has to pee. then you have someone climbing all the way down disturbing everyone.

What would the benefit of doing this be? Do you want to take a selfie and put it on Instagram? That's the only reason I can think of. It's not practical at all and time consuming. It makes no sense.
