agreed. got the chance to see Leo Kottke live last year, was fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oupOlponNjQ is a great song to learn if you're getting into finger picking, but his whole album 6 and 12 string guitar is great even if you don't play. Super comfy, and most of the other tracks on the album aren't anywhere near as energetic as vaseline machine gun.

Yeah man it's super comfy stuff. I used to commute 3hrs into the city by train starting at 5:30am and for just about the entire year would listen to Helios in the morning. Just watching all the swamps, lakes, forests, and landscape out the window while the sun came up. In undefinable ways it seemed to really improve my general wellbeing. Dawn is a good album, but almost every other Phil album is a good /out/ album.

but I think either Glow Pt 2 or No Flashlight are the most /out/ albums.

They're both concept albums about spending a night alone lost in the woods, on a surface level at least.

and that's not to mention albums like, Clear Moon, Wind's Poem, or Sauna.
