>>1495825There are an estimated 100k plus abandoned mines in AZ alone. I've only been in two, both in them mountainous part of central AZ. One was a silver mine the other an early copper mine. Only have a couple photos though. The coolest things in them was a glass bottle from 1910, and the roof of a large room in the silver mine had dozens of quartz crystals that sparkled when you shined a light on them.
