hey /out/ im going on a trip with my dad this summer and i need some suggestions
so far i've come up with:
>hiking
>paddling
im thinking something active instead of sightseeing and shit like dat and the trip is gonna be like 3 days long

How old are you and your dad OP? I enjoy camping outdoors, wilderness or camp grounds. It's nice to sit around a fire and cook hot dogs and smores.

Maybe get drunk and go fishing or camping, that's always fun. You can do hiking and canoeing and shit like that too.

go paddling and fishing.
that way you don't have to carry the gear needed for a 50+ year old to stay comfortable camping on your back (yes, age does make a huge difference here), and you can have some quality father-and-son-time.

I'm 18 and my dad is 50, we go hiking in the Swedish mountains from time to time. Hell we even got to the top of Kebnekaise (Swedens highest mountain) last year. That man is almost in better shape than me.

OP if he's in shape for it I say go hiking, he may not have a lot of time left where he'll be able to do it. You can go fishing when he's 64.

With you some. I haven't seen mine at all for six or seven years and haven't seen him regularly for a decade more. I saw him at my sister's house a few weeks ago and he's become an old man. Sucks.

/Out/doorsmen, don't abandon your children, even after they're all grown up. Man the fuck up so your 6 year old grandkids won't see you and ask who you are.
