>>1497590Hey, a fellow SMERSHbro! There's a ton of open space on the back of the rig that you can fit things to. I've got a really basic, crude setup with an NVA pack. Just tied the pack off to the metal back adjustment bits, which have a convenient paracord-sized hole in them, and then clipped the bottom through the D-rings.
Haven't taken it innawoods yet since I'm about to go innaboat for a few months, but the smersh is cozy. I'm not sure how the NVA pack will wear, but I feel like it'd be good for your bulky-but-not-that-heavy stuff like clothing. If it works really well, I'm going to buy the waterproofed NVA pack and use that instead.
There was some anon here who has a swiss pack rigged to his, sitting underneath the asspack.
