>>1500628>>1500623>>1500625Hey, I might have gotten a little aggro in my last post, and for that I am sorry.
Here's the thing, I get it. I get the disdain for people who live in the front range, but what you're doing is grouping all of us into one big group and judging us. I totally understand that the majority of frangers have no idea how to act in the woods, I understand that the majority of them are pretty clueless.
Here's the thing though, you can't know from the first 3 letters on my license plate that I have spent my entire life as a dedicated outdoorsman, that I have spent more nights than I can even count in mountains all over the country, that I grew up in a cabin and had only wood heat until I was 25, and that I cleaned my first fish when I was 6. I don't need validation from you, I've done my time and I've paid my dues, just like you have.
That's what is bothering me here, the generalization.
And while I respect that you're up there living the life, you have no right whatsoever to tell me that I'm wrong. You could have just as easily been some shitbag liftie from summit county spouting the "my mountains" stuff, but you obviously aren't.
>enjoy my woods and meadows. They're mine too.
Look man, all I'm saying is that I understand your frustation but you shouldn't just assume someone's a shithead because of where they life.
I'm up there all the time, we should get a beer sometime and maybe go fishing.
