So I've been thinking of getting into sailing.
I have a bombardier invitation lined up next week that's for a reasonable price. Any sailors here know what exactly I should ask the guy when I go to see it?

Ask about the standing rigging, any soft spots in the hull? When was the last undercoat ? Does it have zinks? If so do they need to be replaced ? Are the sails crisp ?

I plan on taking her out on small lakes. No lessons, I'm just going to read about it and watch some videos and then head out when the wind is slow to practice. She comes with a trailer.
