Moved out to oahu for the militaryso new to the island been thinking about camping out here but havent been able to find any good spots. Do i need to worry about the boars or what precautions should i take before heading out?

Aloha fellow Islander. The answer is no, boars arnt that bad desu. The homeless on the other hand are the real threat. Sleep with your tent closed and all your stuff inside. Dont camp without a knife/weapon(You wont use it but typically the few that would bother you will see it and beat feat).

Depends on where you're going.

Also, invest in boric acid. Base housing and all the rental cars are infested with roaches.

Hey op here, i know of the homeless population but never heard of them being a problem with campers. Was planning on going out on a trail and just going off trail for a mile and setting up a jungle hammock. Will have to check out those camp grounds in haliewa
