Going tree planting soon, and then I intend to backpack/hitchhike across Canada. I've got gear/tent and shit, and some /out/ experience, but I've never solo camped before, never hitchhiked before, but it's something that I feel the need to do while I'm still young. I think I'm prepared but any advice from pros our true /out/doorsmen would be appreciated. Tips, tricks, do's and don'ts etc. Stories welcome.
