I remember really well when I tried to saw through a 18cm thick log of sappy spruce.
Unironically took me 10 minutes, hurt my hands bad and was tiring. The wood had fucking burn marks from the friction. I didn't mind because I thought this is just how using a saw is but when I got the Silky, wow.
The teeth do the work, you don't even have to push down into the wood. Got a Gomboy with medium teeth and wish I would've gotten the rough blade because the medium does a much finer cut than I imagined and I just want to get through arm thick stuff quick.
