if you propose the /out/ activity its up to you to tailor it to the people you want to bring along, if you really want to bring them along, I believe this is the main issue.
having said that, I've brought 2 exgf and the current one /out/ and it really boiled down to mine and their personalities, some people just don't like being out as much as you'd like, just as some people don't enjoy partying as often.
but if you expect the average woman to have the same amount of physical prowess of the average man, of course you'll be disappointed
if you can't stand them being, you know, women (hence physically weaker) the answer is don't go out with women.
