Then once you begin to realize how much of a pain in the
ass it is to maintain and how expensive it is, it will just become more
of a hassle than it is worth. Then you will keep it covered for 9 months
out of the year purely so you don't have to manage the chemicals
and cleaning, especially if it is near plants or trees.
Then there is the added expense of fencing, as most home
insurances require a minimum of a 48" fence. Your insurance
will still be a pain in the balls though because it is still
considered a major liability, even though a kid sneaking
into your property to get into your pool could drown.
