I live in a $600,000 house on a river bend.

I pay someone else to cut my lawn.

I order food online from Walmart because it's the closest super market.

I pay my neighbors kid to tend my garden.

But I do own a boat and a nice Nikon full frame and I leave my pier directly from my house to instantly be in nature, so I'm more of an /out than any of you.

I work 5 to 6 months a year and save every penny .
Then i #vanlife all over the fucking place in a 4x4 camp van.
Even a normal vacation seems worthless to me.
I dont even get into the groove for the first month.
I dont know how you guys do it.

Wow do I disagree with that comment. I am fascinated by the desert and find it endlessly beautiful. I love the wide open space and the enormity of the sky . I hate being packed into the trees so tightly that you cant see for more than a few hundred yards. Also really dislike humidity.
I do understand though. It takes quite some time to see the desert as anything but badlands . Its an acquired taste but once you see its beauty you cant unsee it.

Social situations mostly. I don't have a bunch of weird thoughts or feelings of insecurity or anything, it's like my body dumps adrenaline into my blood in social situations as if I'm being charged by a Grizzly or something. Like my fight ormflight response is broken. I wasn't like this until a little while ago and it came out of nowhere so I'm thinking possible Lymes? I live in the red.

Imo looking down on the "weekend warrior" is the universal whine of the gatekeeper.

There is nothing wrong with only being able to get out on the weekends. Most of us have normal jobs with normal days on and off and the weekend is just when we can actually afford time for recreation. Theres nothing embarrassing about that.
