>>1508127Locally, park hosts are responsible for hosting some events a week and providing info on the park, they are usually 70 year old boomers in campers with a dog and a board game collection with missing pieces.
We pay them to do this, in two check, one is for any expenses to run and the other is for them being there. This is paid for by beer bottle donations / returns.
The thing most of these boomer fucks dont understand is that until that can is placed IN THE DONATION BIN, its free game, any returnables that end up in the "unreturnable" bins are free for anyone to take and return, but i can't stress to you how annoying it is when a 79 year old calls me over a radio he barely understands to go and harass a 13 year old who is trying to get enough money from the beer bottles for some smores.
They also tend to have fits of rage with us because we don't pay for their food while they stay. They also make up rules and put those said rules on a chalkboard on their site which, in reality, arent rules. A example is last year a guy put up "no cars out after 6 and curfew is at 8" afyer 8 he would lock a gate we used to close for the season, which i would then have to cut and get bitched at because i was reportedly destroying his property.
I hate working here but i get a ton of park perks.
