Vape temp basically indicates how to smoke something. THC is 315F, for instance. But the bigger point is many of the effects attributed to different strains of cannabis, aren't strictly from THC, but rather from various other chemicals too, which are also present in many other aromatic plants. It's basically why the scent of different strains reminds people of other plants and why the aroma of a strain seems to have correlation with its effects.
Granted I don't know how palatable smoking these strong herbs would be but people experiment with herbal smoking blends all the time.
