Since our testing involved busting ass to set up the equipment, then sitting around waiting for 2-3 hours babysitting a computer (read: doing absolutely nothing but watching the clock), then busting ass for another half-hour to tear down our gear... I'd start wandering around the sites. The security patrol guys were for the most part pretty cool, one old dude kept getting grouchy when I'd get up to walk around. But most of them had no problems killing some time chatting or showing me around for a bit.
One site in particular had these keys they'd have to go around and hit various lock-boxes around the property with, to make sure they were doing their rounds and not just fudging data in their logbooks.
