Hey /out/, noob city-slicker here.
So I'm almost ready to start going /out/, compiling my equipment and such. But while I was checking out the sites to the local parks and wildlife management areas, they all seem to say that campfires aren't allowed.
What I'm asking is this: Do you people actually follow rules like this? If I set up camp somewhere, am I going to get run up on by a ranger tell me to put my fire out? They "recommend" their designated camp sites, but I can already tell it's full of yuppie families.
Any advice is welcome, as I said, I'm a complete noob with this shit.
