>>1515473Depends on what area you want to get into. It can be a really tough grind if you want to work for a high design firm, but those are the most gratifying. But you can get an easy mode, boring job at an engineering firm just "shrubbing up" transportation projects as well. That type of thing. I'm with more of a high design firm. And the firm I work for has a really broad mix of scales from residential to larger scale land planning, that's rare.
The uni I went to was really excellent. There is a huge range of quality and emphasis's in universities so it really matters where you go. I went to two, transferring between them. I have friends that went to a number of other programs over NA so I have a pretty braid view of what's out there.
Tell me what you're more interested in focusing on, where you're thinking of going, etc, and I can maybe try to give you a little advice or more details.
