>>1519032>Hopefully I don't dieHonestly, the key for beginners is sticking to the easy ones. Morels, Chantrelles, Giant Puffballs and Boletes are a good place to start. I'd recommend avoiding anything with gills until you've got some experience.

My mother found a bunch in her back yard this year, coming up out of bark mulch. Can I move the bark and keep it going at my place? Has anyone been able to propogate morels?
