I’ve had my wave since 2003, use it regularly at work and abuse it yearly on a two week camping trip in a remote area, using it to gut fish, pull hooks out, bait and unbait crab pots. All of that is involving salt water and beach sand, and every time I think to myself “I should not be such a cunt to this thing,” and every year I get home, wipe it with some CLP, blow out the sand that didn’t wipe out... and it’s yet to seize, crack or combust.
The smallest screwdriver - mine is the older Wave without bit drivers - has a cracked tip, but that was my fault for misusing it, and I can’t bring myself to send it in for warranty cos I know they’d replace it with a new one and I’m a sentimental faggot.
