Hello backpackers, do you use solid shampoos? I have long thick hair and i use solid shampoo and conditioner, along with a normal soap bar for body. while no producing plastic waste they last very long and they take very little space when traveling. It's off topic but I also suggest every femanon to switch to menstrual cups, it's life changing both home and in outdoors instead of those disgusting pads and tampoons.
But HERE IS MY QUESTION: I use lush tins to store my soap, but they got bit damaged by the obvious contact with water. How do you prevent/repair your tins from rust damages? This actually extends to many tin uses when outdoors
