2 gallon bucket.

Kill a tree. Ram two good sized loggs from the dead tree into to ground. Put a flat rock in front of the loggs, add some fluffy moss on top of the rock. Sit the fuck down on said rock, lean back on the two loggs, enjoy your stay.

When out, you can fashion anything. Don't bring furniture. That's retarded.

If you're going car camping, then weight/space aren't really an issue, so it doesn't make sense to bring a bucket when you could just bring something more comfortable (i.e., and actual chair) with little to no consequence

I got one of these hunting/fishing bucket dealies. Has a styro insert that acts as a cooler to hold your fesh or, in my case, ice and beers. Obv I don't hike with this but when I'm just planting my ass down somewhere in the woods or car camping it's quite convenient.

When I can't haul gear on more remote outtings I just sit on the ground, a rock, a stump, or I can use my little side hammock as a comfy swinging bench (pic relates to this very item)
