Does anyone actually use hardware like this for setting ridge lines? I just can't see the use. They're heavier than just a line, however miniscule that might be it's still technically a downside. I've heard people say they're faster to adjust, but adjusting a trucker's hitch is already pretty god damn easy and only takes a second. Are people just too lazy to learn and remember some basic knots? What am I missing here?
