Also, if you don't have pickax, use trekking poles instead.
It's hard question, you need to see snow and weather condition by yourself to know, if you are safe enough.
Also its not winter anymore, and there is still some snow at the moment, so you have sun, that melts the rest od the snow, which can make you slip, and without a pickax, slips like that can be dangerous.

So, if you don't feel confident enough about weather, and don't have any winter equipment, it can be very hard.
One week ago, when i was there, later that day someone slipped at the snow, and he fell down (pic related) near a waterfall.
He was rescued by helicopter, but im glad, that i decided to come back the same side i went up.
