This happened to me yesterday.
>overnight camping alone in central idaho
>find two large but old deer bones near where inset up camp
>lots of deer shit as well
>think nothing of it
>around 11pm reading in tent
>hear unmistakeable bear grunts /growls every few seconds for a couple minutes
>scared titless
>stops after a while
>get some sleep
>packing up this morning
>walking out of campsite with my pack
>find pic related within 50 feet of where I set up camp

99% sure that it wasnt there yesterday. Either way its very fresh. Had my 9mm but I still probably would have been fucked had a bad encounter happened. Fucking bears
