>>1538711No, I'm not american and that's pretty much the only thing you're right about.
I started quoting you because, like a good church boy you wrote some ludicrous shit that no one besides brainwashed or ignorant people actually believe. American sports, college football included, are a show, and a good show at that, you have the numbers, the money, the parking lot barbecues, the awesome stadiums, the whole nine yards, I can't deny that. That said it's all so superficial, plastic, there's no history to it, teams are fucking franchises and colleges are just institutions milking the system and acting like ruthless corporations. It all so pathetic, it's the equivalent of rubbing one off and go to sleep.
That brown people, as you put it, are the exact opposite and it's beautiful to see. Uncompromised love for something, it shows how important it is, and understandably so. The team they chant for is the same team that their fathers, grandfathers and even great grandfathers grew up supporting and loving, it's a genuine love story.
Even with your /pol/ shit and ignorance aside, you contradicting yourself and trying to diminish was fucking pathetic. You tried to justify miserable weather with football, food and culture... whatever man, just remember the world doesn't start or end in Alabama, Louisiana, Nebraska... New York, London, Paris or Berlin. There's life in Montevideo, Belgrade, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Casablanca too, and in their own way they can show us great things, even if it's a great sport's atmosphere.
