1) Get a license, buy a car. Any dumbass can learn to drive if someone teaches you, you can buy a shitty problem car for a couple hundred bucks. If you have a minimum wage job and no dependents or medical costs, you can save that up in a few months
2) Get other people to drive. Go camping with buddies, offer to buy the food or some shit to pull your weight. If you’re friendless or all your friends are turbopussies, you can take a bus. Alternatively, there may be groups/clubs that do this sort of thing near you that you could join.
3) Get a bike, some saddlebags or a trailer, and ride your ass out there. You might have to take significant leave from work.
There is probably camping closer than you think. You don’t need a wilderness or mountains or some famous landmark, drag your ass out to some car camping spots for starters. Google around or ask on social media.
