braid for the size is fucking super string and diameter vs diameter it makes 550 cord look like a bitch
But I'll post pros and cons
Pros
No memory
No stretch (you can feel every little bump you hit)
Birdsnests/backlash can be easier to deal with in my experience, been using a bait caster only a few years and this spring I changed to braid and I've noticed the line pulls out smoother
kinks don't effect it like fluorocarbon(which is amazing line that I keep on my ultra light)
Strength vs diameter makes this like amazing, your able to load the same amount of 50lb test as you would with 15lb test mono
The knots are better and are very difficult to pull out (need to learn more knots though)
Cons
Can fuck up the guides on your rod
Need to learn more knots and usually need a mono leader
No stretch can cause you to set the hook to hard when you first start it fucking up the fish if youplan on releasing
Hard to cut, don't bother trying to bite it, just make sure you have your knife or clippers handy
Not abrasive resistant at fucking all
And
Obviously it ain't clear.
Over all i'm loving it but i'm still thinking of going back to mono next year just because I it fits my needs better, putting on leaders, and it seems like a waste to use 30lb test when I usually don't catch anything over 10lb
