I’m going to go a short hike then camp overnight in the woods tomorrow. it’s due to piss it down though
Any soggy camping pointers ?

If you take a tent, rake the area you are going to put the tent so when you put your tent away the tent wont have wet leaves and stuff stuck to the bottom.

Dig a shallow trench beneath where your going to sleep and lay branches/something over it. Whatever you do DO NOT sleep on the ground. Build a bed up with heather if you have to but do not sleep on the ground. You can seriously fuck your health up permanently if you do.

If it's just an over night then make you have a spare set of clothes for camp. Also be 100% that your sleeping bag will stay dry in you pack.
