From what I've seen it's well above $1k/acre in most places unless we're talking about actual sandy scrub brush in some spic county like Yakima or Grant. That's still cheap compared to other parts of the country I suppose but it's still pretty whacky, especially if you're looking at the really neat places boomer retirees have infested like the Peninsula, Okanogan, Whatcom, the Palouse, etc. and you have to deal with their inflated pricing.
