yep, national parks are terrible. don't come to them. i definitely haven't backpacked in yosemite and seen no one except my brother for 4 days.

Daily reminder to get further /out/ in order to avoid the crowds of normies. If you're less than a mile from parking, people are everywhere. Put some miles on those legs to experience solitude. That said, I vastly prefer NF>NP. Who wants to see the sights that everyone else has seen?

At least Michigan's forests is still safe from tourists. There's still enough wilderness left in the Upper Peninsula that you can sort of just set up a tent wherever you want, as long as you are discrete about it.

I don't think others having seen sights makes them any less valuable and special. While its awesome to have your own story a great thing about the outdoors is that its something that can be truly shared. That said, of course nobody likes crowds of loud normalniggers. Best case scenario you find a good time to book and you plan your trip so the trails and sights are as non-crowded as possible.
