So gorwing in my yard I know I have members of the Panaeolina genus growing, one of which I picked and spore printed as Panaeolus foenisecii, but am wondering if there could be Panaeolus cinctulus mixed in with them. My question is then, do foe/cin usually grow together? Or do I have to harvest and print each one to find them?
Also on harvesting mushrooms. Does it matter how big they are, as in should I wait until the Panaeolus have "flowered" or just harvest them all?
I am under the assumption that Pan foe/cin are both safe to consume and that cinctulus have psilocybin while foenisecii have a negligable ammount. My question is, what is the most efficient way to harvest and sort these? Do I literally have to spore print every individual one?
