Can we have a thread about fallen or lost companions?

My backpack broke today after more than a decade of service. Eastpack-chan wasn't anything special, she didn't have as much volume or specials as other backpacks but she was mine. We went over thousands of miles together in she carried tons and tons. University, construction sites, shopping, festivals, mountains, forests, lakes...
I am sending her in and maybe she can get a second life but I doubt it.

Have you lost companions? A good pair of boots, a tent, a knaifu?
