So /out/ Im looking to take my GF camping.
I used to live in the Adirondacks, so throughout my teen years I was used to being able to walk out my house and go camping basically wherever I wanted. Now that I live in NH i've found that everywhere is someone's backyard. It seems also that every state park in the state requires a fee to sleep outside.
I keep telling her we can just piss off into some woods that are relatively secluded but she keeps coming down with "what if someone sees us".
Anyone know of some parks in ME, NH, or VT that don't require a payment to camp?
