as a scout AND hell raiser as a kid, it was the same way with scouts for me. yeah i knew how to start fires, use guns/knives/axes etc, and other more dangerous learnings, but i wasn't running around setting half the town on fire, and killing anything that got in my way.
and honestly skills like that are better to be learned than figured out. it's a fuck of alot more dangerous when you don't know what your doing. when i was younger a friend of a friends kid brother shot the older one because he was they were arguing about a tennis ball and he got the gun and it accidently went off and killed him. the 9 year old killed his older brother he didn't know about guns, he just knew what they were.
