>>1559354The "zombie-drug"-thing is a meme. I've ingested pure scopolamine on 2 seperate occasions, when I was into exploring psychotropics as a teen.
It doesn't make you extremely suggestible (like the Vice-documentary suggests), but is still used as a date-rape drug in some backwards parts of the world. Rather, it turns you into a delirious uncontrollable lunatic.
The trip lasted for about 16 hours.
I was running about in the halls of the boardingschool I was attending, doing crazy stuff.
Most of the time, I thought I was accompanied by my best friend at the time, whilst in reality he was asleep in his room.
Sometimes he would disappear and re-appear, and when I asked him if he was real, he'd laugh, and *poof*, he was gone.
It also eliminates your short-term memory. Your mind works kind of like when you're dreaming. Kind of hard to put into words; there's no logical connection between cause and effect, in your mind.
I was generally confused, and most of the time I'd no memory of having ingested a drug.
On the comeup, I had the classical deliriant hallucinations of bugs and spiders crawling all over the walls, probably because that's what I'd subconsciously expected. I wasn't really scared at any time though, just laughing like a maniac.
I wouldn't describe it as a bad trip, but certainly would not reccomend this as a recreational drug to anybody.
It's a very fine line between active dose and lethal dose. I used gloves, mask, tweezers and milligram scale when dosing.
I woke up on the floor in a pool of my own spew 16 hours later, and there was even vomit (and chocolate truffles) on the ceiling. It felt like I'd just taken the drug 5 minutes ago.
Also let my friends try it, and had the toughest night of tripsitting in my life. 1/10 would not repeat.
