I work for the CO state government, a lot of the issues here are either being HEAVILY dramatized by the anons in this thread, or simply don't exist.
People from Colorado think they're state and way of life is under attack from the entire rest of the country. Yes, we (Denver specifically) have rising migratory numbers, but its nothing that isn't easily handled in our current state, and isn't even outside the norm compared to the rest of the country.
The entire U.S. is facing a migratory crisis right now, especially major cities around the country. Colorado has it pretty easy compared to a ton of other states that are drowning due to overpopulation and development issues.
CA, FL, NY, NJ, OR, AZ all of these states are on the massive struggle bus right now, and I'm sure there are others as well. They have way too many people moving in compared to how many leave (not many), and are clamoring to develop their already massive urban sprawls even further to support the population booms.
If you want to move here, feel free, but just be respectful to the land, thats all anybody wants.
