You'd prefer threads to fall off and die every 5 min? WTF do you mean, at just about any given moment there is reasonably active discussion going on somewhere within it. Not to mention quality > quantity, which despite all of the inherent 4chan/nel retardation and faggotry, is relatively high on this particular board. Also, actual /out/ is zen and an escape from the hell of fast paced city life, so it's nice that here /out/ somewhat reflects that. People can come by from time to time over a couple of weeks and still be able to catch up on/participate in the running discussions.

maybe has allowed more, but is not causing more. despite more accessibility to info, less are taking advantage of it. most of the people who go /out/ would have anyways. not everyone, but most. many of those who don't go /out/ have/know they info, but either don't care, prefer City Life, or just don't have the ability.(no time, money etc.)

Nothing wrong with being a slow board. It’s my experience that the faster a board becomes, the more off topic it becomes and the lower the post quality becomes. If you make a dumb post on a slow board, your mistake is up there for days or weeks (or longer). Fast boards actually reward shitposts because in the fight against 404ing, dumb twitter bait images get more responses than thoughtful and measured discussion. Be thankful this is a slower board.
