What equipment or accessories do you regard as mandatory for your trips /out/, but which are rarely mentioned or you think you might be the only one? Pic related, just replaced all the Kold Kutters on my boots. I have no idea if anyone else uses these, I think they were originally designed for car tyres for racing on ice, but for where I go (slippery rocks, lots of wading) they're a life saver.
