>>1578965>picThose are not leeches, despite what Louis and everyone else on the internet seems to think. Leeches don't have fins. Those fish do have suckers though. They are probably Garra ceylonensis, or similar species, which are used in spas to clean people's skin of dead skin.
Leeches are usually not much of a problem unless you are wading through places with lots of debris, like marshy areas with lots of aquatic grasses or you are flipping over flat stones in the water. Sometimes very small bodies of water like the splash pools below culverts along roads can be teaming with leeches.
