This pic is of the valley where a stream I love dearly starts. Turns out this is called "Bear Gulch". I found that out after I told my friend about my encounter with a mother bear and her cub (cub was up a tree, barked like a demon from the deepest hell /b/ could imagine, the mother was really chill and just like "Why you freakin, whitey?"). Next time I hike that valley I'm bringing a buddy and the proper bear-country mindset.
Pretty typical representation of the area I live in, too.
