Have many of you gone foraging for wild edibles? Ever gotten sick?
I'm looking to find a field guide but I don't know if they exist.

I just haven't been able to find anything. I'm not sure what to search because "field guide" and "wild edibles" are all kind of vague words and are just kind of leading me to books and stuff.

This seems like a good thread to ask: saw some black berries on a tree today in new york. (breakneck ridge trail)

Wanted to eat them, but didn't. Can anyone help ID this berry?
