See where I'm going with this? Bass fishing methods vary from location, weather, your gear, boat vs bank fishing, etc. Cast into cover: Bass are ambush predators. I've been bass fishing for years and still learn something just about every time im on the water.
There are a few lures that are essential for just about every bass angler I can give:
White Spinnerbait
Plastic Worm (Look up texas rig for how to rig em)
Topwater Popper
As a general rule big baits catch big fish. However, big baits don't catch fish as frequently. If I was you, start with some smaller stuff to get you "hooked".
On a sidenote: the more lures you got, the more fucking hard it is to decide which one to use.
