that doesnt sound like water related to me, probably something you ate on monday.
i honestly didnt know about water filters until 10 years ago and i have been born and raised /out/. tought to drink straight from the smallest running streams only with my mouth, fill my cup way below the water level when in a lake to avoid insekts and floating shit, boil old snow but fresh snow can be melted and drinken straight away. insert always go for yellow snow it might be beer meme here. if in doubt just boil yourself a good cup of coffe, but i have never been in doubt so far. things are different around the world but im a firm believer of vaccination through exposure, i have been drinking all kinds of water around here for 30 years and never been sick. you might become if you do it here, i dont know? i might get sick if i move where you are? but i would still do it rather than relying on a water filter every time i go out. sometimes, like this summer, we get water temperatures above 20*C for days and then shit happends, bacterias we are not used to blow up and people get sick but always around popular camps and beaches, never in the wild. i dont go to thoose places so its not an issue to me.
