Hey /out/ for awhile now I've wanted to move from my suburbia town to a more remote location in the wilderness and grow and hunt food for myself. I've never hunted before and I am empathetic to animals and worry that I wouldn't be able to kill one to feed myself. How do you guys get over the fact that you're killing a living animal with feelings and shit? Do you add a spiritual aspect like a native or do you just try to distance yourself from thoughts about the animal and just get down to business?
