Mountains.

I have fat on my body and lots of hair to keep me warm, its my genetics.

The cold air and exercise is superior, and mountains are less susceptible to city fags cause they get tired or scared.

I'm a mountainfag myself but you actually get more solar radiation at high elevation than you do at sea level. It's easier to get a sunburn at 8,000 ft than it is at most temperate beaches. Due to reduced atm pressure. On the plus side though, mountain folk are physically stronger than they would be at sea level, especially if you were born at high elevation and lived there your whole life. Due to your body adapting to lower blood-oxygen saturation levels than you would have at lower pressures. This is why many athletes around the world train in mountains or pressure chambers for several weeks at a time.

Used to live on the mountain, now walking distance from the beach. Spent my childhood winters uphill and summers on the Sound.
It's easier to be alone in the wood. I take mini retreats every month just to get some real silence.
But I love the sea. Just breathing it sets my heart at ease.
My kid brother actually moved to a more rural slice of Hawaii, so he could do something similar. (But with warmer rain)
So yeah. Why not both?

Military started doing the same thing. It was mind blowing to see some goat fucker hauling ass and smoking a cig, all the while all of us can't catch our breath and are getting light headed due to no time spent getting adjusted to the altitude.

If you've ever been to the AZ high country in summer it's still t-shirt and shorts weather during the day (70s-80s) and long sleeves during the chilly nights (50s-60s), even at 8,000ft. I got decent sunburn on my last short hike at only 7,500ft. Regardless of your regalia or air temperature the solar radiation is still more intense at higher elevations, it will effect any exposed skin. It's nothing to really worry too much about though.
