we have the same problem with the nigerians here in SA, but they mostly just fuck with the indians and chinese
i went on a month long ADV ride and camp trip with my namibian friend and a friend from ireland in 2009, we started in oranjemund and ended up stopping at tsumeb and going back, hit a lot of dunes and massively fucked up my 650 Dakar to the point we waited for a week while parts were shipped to the nearest town
we've talked about going "die groot sirkel" starting in SA, up through mozambique, over into zambia to angola and down back to SA via namibia, we've also wanted to do a straight shot all the way up to europe and to the UK
but yeah, there was a lot of shitty situations on that trip and some of them could've gone sideways if there wasn't three of us
if you plan to travel here at least get a small knife or something, don't be like the typical european idiots that actually trust everyone to be good people and they end up robbed and stranded until deportation
