>>1589041I camp a lot in the UK, our hills are super boggy, and finding a dry spot can be a real chore. I have often had good luck hunting around tarns though. Sometimes you can find a slightly raised patch which will be dry enough. Plus lakes often give you a decent supply of rocks to add a bit of extra anchoring. I pile them up on my pegs If I am worried about the ground.
